Build a Product Story from Verifiable Details

A convincing product story begins with details that can be traced. The maker, the material and the intended use are stronger starting points than a broad claim about authenticity. Describe the object itself before attaching a regional or historical narrative.

Ask the producer which facts they can confirm and which terms they use to describe the work. Keep their account distinct from an editor’s interpretation. Photographs can show texture and form, but they cannot independently establish origin or production methods.

Organize the story around a small number of supported points. A reader should be able to understand who supplied the information and why it matters to the product. Leave out claims that depend only on a familiar image of a country or tradition.

Before publication, return the factual description to the source for clarification where needed. Keep a dated version of the information for future updates. A clear product story respects both the reader and the maker by making its evidence visible rather than using a polished narrative to hide uncertainty.
